Static VIL: Vehicle Testing on Chassis or Direct Drive Dynamometer

Conduct tests on a stationary vehicle, where only the wheels have mobility,  the entire transmission chain remaining operational. This method facilitates comprehensive evaluation of the real vehicle within a virtual environment using SCANeR, enabling precise assessment of performance and fuel consumption.

Dynamic VIL: Real Vehicle Testing on Test Track

Enhance real-world testing by incorporating virtual elements such as simulated surrounding vehicles and virtual sensors through SCANeR. This approach creates highly realistic conditions for testing Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and other automotive technologies.

HIL: Testing and validating radar detection

Generate radar targets by using an HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) bench. For example, with the car’s radar sensors, we can simulate a crossing with a vehicle on the left or right. These signals are then integrated into the driving simulation. The visual component shows the positioning of the passing vehicle, whether on the left or right, and helps in decision-making: braking, stopping, or yielding to the other vehicle.
