New features
- OSI Standard data sharing
The OSI (Open Simulation Interface) standard is a revolutionary protocol that enables seamless data exchange between various components and systems in simulation environments. In the cutting-edge world of autonomous vehicles, ADAS rely on the OSI standard to ensure flawless communication and interoperability between sensors, control units, and simulation platforms.
This SCANeR 2023.4 feature embraces the power of the OSI standard for data sharing, thus, our software takes a leap forward delivering unmatched integration and enhanced compatibility. Indeed, SCANeR can now publish sensor data for vehicles and objects using the OSI standard format!
- RT Gateway FMU export for ControlBuild
In the latest release of SCANeR 2023.4, we’ve amped up our connection capabilities with Dassault Systèmes; ControlBuild software. ControlBuild is a dedicated development tool for design and integration tests. In SCANeR 2023.4, users can generate a specialized FMU (Functional Mock-up Unit) tailor-made for ControlBuild, granting full access to all the outputs from SCANeR’s sensors.
With this upgrade, testing and validating Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) becomes a breeze using Dassault Systèmes software.
- Ghost recording
SCANeR 2023.4 welcomes a new feature for users willing to work on a specific trajectory in their simulation. Indeed, it lets you craft a virtual driver that mimics the exact path of any target vehicle from your simulation records.
Simply tweak the settings, like the timeframe or reference point of the trajectory, to your liking. Once done, you can slot this virtual driver into any ghost vehicle within the simulation.
- Pedestrian support in OpenScenario
On top of the features mentioned earlier, our development team has been hard at work to enhance your simulation experience even further. We’re thrilled to introduce pedestrian support in OpenScenario imports, allowing for more dynamic and realistic simulations.
